Converted to Mash Tun for Home BrewingJul 10, 2010
Excellent cooler for use as a mash tun. It holds temperature perfectly. One cautionary note for home brewers: If you're doing 10 gallon batches, this is NOT large enough for some high gravity beers. I'd say the absolute most grain you can mash in here is about 21-23lbs.

Really good commercial grade beverage coolerMay 30, 2006
This is Igloo's commercial version of the 10 gallon beverage cooler. It is a bright easily seen OSHA approved yellow color with a red lid. The lid has a handle but for about $9 you can get a flat lid that provides seating, if needed. This cooler is super rugged and has a recessed nozzle that provides some protection when handled in a rough fashion. Igloo sells the nozzel and handles seperately (very inexpensive) should replacement ever be necessary. There are various lesser incarnations of this unit for the consumer but this is the real deal for commercial applications. There is also a rugged steel truck mount (#25043) available that securely allows mounting this cooler on most any vehicle or location. This cooler keeps contents cold all day long in 95F+ temps, easy to use, super rugged and is a life saver on any job.
