I have been using the Omron HR-100C Heart Rate Monitor for close to one month and I am more than satisfied its performance. I have it mounted on my bicycle with its convenient mounting bracket and use it daily while biking. Make sure that you wet the straps on both sides of the monitor to ensure good conductivity with your skin on your chest.

Right out of the box the watch mates to the belt. Belt works with my tredmill. Watch works with my tredmill belt. That is good in case of trouble shooting. It is quick to sense pulse. It is not big and bulky as some. I like the bike attachment to keep it in my line of sight.

The monitor works well with reasonable price. I use it during my biking. It is ease of use, picking up the heart rate immediately. I recommend it!!

This is a great product that works with accuracy. It even syncs with machines that check heart-rates. Just wear the strap around your chest and it will be picked up by the machine you are on!

This monitor is packaged nicely and the chest strap is decent, but the accolades end there. Upon first use, the digital readout on the watch was not showing completely (some of the digital lines that make up the numbers are too faint to see; e.g., 1 and 7 look exactly the same). After about a week of use, the watch starts beeping uncontrollably sitting on the table and won't respond to pushing any of the buttons. I expected the limited functionality at this price but not complete dysfunctionality!
Omron Customer Service is only open during business hours and it is not worth the hassle of returning such a cheap piece of garbage. Lesson Learned.
Bottom Line: Buy a different and spend the extra $20 for something a little better.
