Great body groomer/shaver for the price.Jul 28, 2010
I was tired of ripping out hairs using a standard facial facial trimmer. I bought this item on a whim based on all the good reviews here on Amazon. So far, I love the product. It's easy to use and very comfortable. No nicking or pulling any hairs in my armpits, chest or groin region. Longer hair may take a few extra passes, but overall the job gets done with great comfort.
Cleaning is easy, although I agree caution should be take with the delicate foil cover. I haven't used the plastic trimmer pop-on's.
Cons: It would be great to have an LED on the shaver to indicate charging time, and I believe the newer model has this feature but of the course the cost is higher. I also would have appreciated a cover for the head (like most shavers) to prevent any damage to the foil or trimmers.
Overall, very satisfied and I would definitely purchase this product again.

This purchase was actually to replace the same bodygroomer I purchased 3 years ago. The bodygroomer is great for both me and my husband.

No need to purchase the more expensive updates to this unit. Works well with almost no nicking or pulling.

I bought this a couple years ago (April, 2008), and have been using it ever since, so I can tell you it's lasted pretty well. I think I've only ran out of charge with it in the shower once. Once you get the initial trimming done, maintenance doesn't take very long, and so I've never had problems with battery life. It automatically stops charging when the battery is full, which is nice, though I suppose if you don't use it for a while, the battery could drain even though it's in the charger, plugged in. The guards are nice, and I like that the head has a trimmer pointing both directions, and the guards fit facing either way.
As I'm fairly hairy, I'm disappointed by how often I have to rinse it out while shaving. I generally have to take the guard off each time I rinse, and the guard goes on easily, but is kind of tough to get off, so it's a pain having to do that every minute or two. A lot of times, when I pull the guard off, I feel like it's going to break because it's so hard to pull off. I end up pulling the foil out, accidentally, too fairly often. It doesn't hurt anything, but it's a hassle. I don't expect not to have to rinse/clean it while using it, but having to take the guards off so frequently is really annoying. This being my first "manscaping" product, I can't say how it compares to other brands/models, but I'm a little disappointed. It's not bad for the price, though.

I used it for the under arm etc. rather for hair triming and loved it. This is the best product I have tried and was regretting why I had to go thru all the pains until now, I should have bought it long time ago. It's easy on sensitive areas, does the job and doesn't hurt.
