 Nice bike storageMay 15, 2010
Was organizing the garage and needed bike storage. This works great. A couple of shelves to hold helmets and other bike gear are nice haves. I do still need someone to wait in the garage and take the bikes down or put them back up for the kids. They haven't mastered how to get them down yet and haven't tried putting them up.

This is a great rack and allows for lots of storage, was easy to put together and install. You'll love it, as long as you have plenty of space like a garage, etc.

Bought the bike rack for two adult bikes. It takes up a lot of space. What I mean by that is the footprint it takes is about 5'w by 4'd. I was going to set it up on the side of my two car garage, but with the bikes in place, they would interfere with parking a car. I set it up at the back of the garage, now I can barely squeeze my wife's car underneath the overhanging handlebars of one of the bikes.
The shelves are somewhat useful though.

I bought this thing believing based on the picture, name and description, that I could hang it. I have enough space to do so.
It is actually a leaning rack. Not stable on its bottom without being bolted to the wall, very heavy, and clearly not meant to be wall mounted. The picture and title are deceiving.
That said if you have appropriate wall space, it will probably last for generations.
Doesn't work for me. I have given it away to a neighbor.

This bike rack stores our two bikes out of the way and also provides some much needed storage for other outdoor gear.
