CalmingMar 06, 2010 This light has such a calming affect. I was having trouble sleeping, even with medication. I put it on an hour or so before I lie down and off I go. My husband just loves the calming affect it has on him. Gives the room a lovely glow.

Had to send it backJan 06, 2009 I only tried it for about four days in a row. For those same four days, I noticed a high-pitched buzzing sound in my room. When I finally figured out it was coming from the lamp while turned "off", I sent it back. I was so desperate that I was willing to pay eighty dollars for a blue light to help me sleep. I guess we'll try anything for a little relief.

Bad Idea!Oct 05, 2008 I strongly agree with the preceding review. All scientific research indicates that this type of light is helpful first thing in the morning, certainly not at night!!! This type of light actually signals the brain to destroy the lingering melatonin which is a hormone that makes you sleepy. Using this light at night to fall asleep would be very counterproductive! Do your own research...

Waste of a first paycheck.Jul 09, 2008 Broke after two weeks and I couldn't return it. It didn't really do anything for me at all in the brief period during which it was functioning properly. Total waste of money.

Morning rays for the corporate cogJul 04, 2008 Soft and warm pseudo-sunlight to bring sunshine to a cubed work space. Starts the day off on a nice note.
I have a pseudo-sunlight floor lamp which is ideal for reading.
